Never enough

Will it ever be?  Will we ever be content?

Or will we always strive to do more and have more?

I guess it depends on what you have defined as more?

More prestige?  More recognition?  More wealth?  More fame?

When we define enough as being an external measure – we will always be striving.  It won’t ever be enough.  And when you think you have arrived, you will feel a void.

Because it’s not about reaching the finish line or the end.  There isn’t some grandiose celebration awaiting your arrival.

It will never be enough – if you think there is some finite goal that will make you happy.

Stop racing to the finish line, and sit back and enjoy the marathon.

Maybe it’s not about being or achieving enough.

What if it’s really about the journey?
