It’s not for you

If you try and please everyone, you will end up pleasing no one.

Because we are all different.  We all have different world views, beliefs and interests.

Which makes it impossible to create something new and original and not get criticized by someone.

So stop trying to appeal to everyone.  And focus on pleasing a few.

Living on the edge requires ruffling a few feathers.  And it means not being understood by everyone.

And that’s OK.

Writing a post about the “5 ways to be more productive” would certainly be more popular.

But being popular isn’t the purpose.  Turning the lights on for a few is.

So if you don’t like or understand this – it’s OK.

It’s not for you.
