The hardest part is starting. It’s all downhill from there.

Literally.  Once we can create the forward motion, the energy and momentum builds on itself.

It’s the starting that is so hard.  And it’s where we get stuck.

There is always more research to do.  More to read.  More to edit and more to plan.

And so we wait.  We wait for the perfect moment.  We wait until we feel confident enough.

And when we finally do start, we often laugh at ourselves for how long it took to take the leap.

And once we got over the hurdle, it’s downhill from there.  It gets easier and easier.  We pick up speed as we go on the way down.

And rarely do we look back.

But in order to go racing down the hill, we have to give ourselves that push to get started.
